DAY 1: COCHIN ARRIVAL – MUNNAR

• Our representative will receive you on arrival from Cochin( Airport / Railway Station)

• Board the transit arranged and head to Munnar (130 Km | 4 Hrs 30 Min)

• Visit Cheeyapara & Vallara Water Falls. (Seasonal)

• Tea Garden if it is open and you wish to visit.

DAY 2: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

• Mattupetty Dam – A vital hydroelectricity project now haven for many birds and animals.

• Kundala Lake – Picturesque landscape not to forget Asia’s first Arch Dam.

• Eco Point – A beauty of its own a great view of Nilgiri Hills.

• Afternoon visit to Top station or Eravikulam (Rajmala) National Park

• Optional to visit Blossom Park & Tea museum if time interested.

DAY 3: MUNNAR – THEKKADY

• After breakfast drive from Munnar to Thekkady (110 Kms | 3 Hrs 30 Min)

• Visit to Periyar National Park with optional activity of boating & Jeep Safari

• Kathakali, Kalaripayattu (Martial Arts) and Elephant ride are optional

• Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.

DAY 4: THEKKADY - HOUSEBOAT

• After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey/Kumarakam (180 Kms | 5 Hrs)

• Check-in to the Houseboat by 12.30 pm

• Enjoy the backwater cruise in a Houseboat till evening 5'O clock

• Overnight stay in the houseboat

DAY 5: ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM

• After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam (170 Kms |5 Hrs 30 Min)

• On the way visit Jatayu Park.

• Check in to the resort by afternoon

• Evening enjoy the sun set at Kovalam beach.

DAY 6: POOVAR DAY TRIP

• Proceed for Poovar Island after breakfast

• Enjoy the scenic beauty of Poovar Island famous for its Mangrove forest along the banks of Neyyar river.

• Optional boating is the major attraction in Poovar.

DAY 7: TRIVANDRUM DEPARTURE

• Check-out and proceed for Trivandrum Departure

• Padmanabhaswamy temple, Priyadharsini Planetarium, Napier museum & Sree chitra art gallery will be

Trivandrum Sightseeing

• Shopping and sightseeing will cover as per the availability of time

• Cab will drop you at Cochin/Trivandrum Airport/Railway station

Package Includes:

• Conveyance in a well-maintained private AC vehicle (Sedan for 2 pax, Ertiga for 4 pax, Innova for 6

pax, 12-seater Tempo Traveller for 8-10 pax and 17-seater Tempo Traveller for 12 pax).

• Experienced Hindi/English speaking driver.

• Private vehicle for arrival and departure transfers and sightseeing tours as per the itinerary.

• Driver bata, toll, parking expenses, night halt charges, fuel, and all applicable taxes included in the

cost.

• Honeymoon Inclusions: Honeymoon arrangements in hotels or houseboats are not included in the standard

package and will be charged extra as per the property's policies.

• Gala Dinner charges for Christmas & New Year will have to pay as per the hotel norms.

• Due to high demand, houseboat rates may increase closer to dates, so we to confirm the package at the earliest.

Read Carefully before you book shared houseboat package.

• Just think that you are staying on a cruise ship. You are getting a private room, and you go to a common restaurant to dine. In a

similar way, you are staying on a houseboat, which is floating or cruising, and you can hang out around the houseboat just like a

small ship. There is enough space for all guests. The upper deck area is commonly used for dining purposes.

• The cost of renting a single-bedroom houseboat is on the higher end. To make the houseboat experience economical, we come up

with the package called “Sharing Houseboat”. On a shared houseboat, you will get a private bedroom in a large houseboat with an

upper deck area and a large living space area.

• Houseboats ranging from 6 to 11 bedrooms are offered on a shared basis, ensuring privacy for each couple with individual rooms

featuring attached bathrooms within the same houseboat.

• As this is often a special service, only couples, ladies, and families will be permitted on this shared boat. Bachelor groups are strictly

not allowed in this category of boat.

• Guests are not permitted to remain or sleep outside the rooms after 10:30 PM.

• Meal plan - Starts with Lunch and ends with Breakfast. The vegetarian and non-buffet style meals served will be of traditional Kerala

cuisine.

Terms and Services:

• The above given rates are valid only during the mentioned period.

• The above mentioned tour cost will be valid for only twin sharing basis.

• Child below 5 years is complimentary.

• Any change in the date of travel or the number of persons travelling the tour cost offered may vary.

• Similar category hotels will be arranged if rooms are unavailable in above listed hotels as per the required dates.

• Some hotels provide only mattress in case when extra bed is required and not cot.

• We suggest you check reviews and location of hotels to make sure the selected hotel is as per your interests and any change of hotel

upon arrival retention fee will be charged.

• Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly to the hotel by guests as per the hotel policy.

• In Munnar, Thekkady, Ootty and Kodaikanal rooms are usually Non - A/C since these are cold regions unless mentioned otherwise.

• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and the hotel may charge extra for the same

• In A/C Deluxe Category Houseboat, A/C will be operational only from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. in the bedroom.

• Houseboat check in starts from 12.30 Noon and cruising time is till 5 PM and there after boat will be anchored as per the

Government regulations

• For houseboats Deluxe is the base category and premium & luxury boats are higher category houseboats which are available on the

additional cost.

• Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and based on availability of hotels mentioned

• For Online Credit Card Payment – 2.5% Extra For The Amount Transferred (Bank Charge)

• Eravikulam National Park Munnar will be closed for 3 months in a year based upon the breeding period of the goats (Nilgiri Tahr)

• Some sightseeing spots might be closed on certain days, and we won't be able to compensate if travelling falls on those days.

• Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing, destinations due to political strike or roadblocks.

• Alagirwa Travels Pvt L tddoes not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in houseboat is included) and

personal expenses. During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay

the amount without our concern.

• During the tour, if you face any difficulty or lag in service, it should be informed to the concerned Trip Advisor at the earliest to act

upon immediately.
